Berlin was the place I wish I could have spent a lot more time at. There is so much histroy to this city and country that there was no way I was going to see everything there was to see! All in All it is an amazing place and I will definitley be visiting again in a few months.
Anyway we arrived late afternoon (29th August 09) and walked around exploring the city for an hour or two before heading to our funky hostel. We headed out that night to a resturant trying some beer and German food before making a night of it at our hostel. There was a bar on the roof and a view overlooking Berlin. I didn't last very long unfortunatley : (

The next day was a sight seeing walking guided tour which was amazing though way too much info! it was a hot day with a clear blue sky! We did see the Brandenburg gate, the Berlin Wall and many other landmarks that have slightly slipped my memory. Then some time on our own where we visited Check Point Charlie and some random Science Museum which I have to admit wasn't that exciting!
That night we had another walking tour visiting some bars and clubs and another part of the Berlin wall and 'No Man's Land'. Was great fun and was a long night too. but definitly worth it.
